Now I like the idea and speed of 4G as a mi.fi device
So when I see this device on Vodafone I thought great.
But why such appalling data allowances ?
£10 per month for 1GB.....
Come on Vodafone you can do better than that

Indeed... 'mobile broadband' somehow attracts a premium.
Where as you can get an unlimited plan from three that allows tethering fir £15 a month, couple that with a cheap android handset, and you have a bodged together mobile wifi service where you can use unlimited amounts of data...0 -

Would be interested in 4G PAYG ...0 -

How about you just don't get the Vodafone model?
You can get better deals for 4G MiFi from the other networks, including Cashback. You can then unlock the thing and use it with other networks.
Best deals tend to be one month contracts. Though if you don't want to the contract beyond one month, you'll need to cancel it as soon as it begins.0 -
Interesting...
Can you say which networks have 4G mi.fi devices....as this is something I would be most interested in.

Have you even taken a look for yourself? Don't be lazy.
All major networks have them.0 -
All major networks have them...YES

So don't get it on a PAYG basis. It's already been discussed to death, but you don't seem to get it.
One month contract is cheaper, but activate and cancel on the same day if you don't want it to continue longer than a month.
Then you can continue with 3G PAYG SIMs until 4G PAYG is available.0 -
