Private parking fine, 3rd letter sent recorded

Can anyone tell me if Euro Car Parks Limited has taken anyone to court yet for not paying the fine. I have received 2 letters and a 3rd one recorded delivery. The car was parked on 23.3.13 and have binned the first 2 letters.

Nope. Never for one fake PCN and the only time they ever tried was when a person had over a dozen fake PCNs and ECP lost that as they didn't have a clue about court. Their CEO admitted in a national newspaper that they were unsure of their legal position so had never tried small claims (until that single failed attempt!).

I have ignored a Euro Car Parks fake PCN myself (when 'ignore' was the old advice) and just got letters from Control Account. Who are your letters from, same debt collector or a different one?

It's not a fine BTW but I am unsure why you ignored it seeing as that's not current advice. Was the registered keeper also the driver, or not?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi the letter mentioned above wasn't recorded delivery. Myself and the above user have both received euro car park penalty notices for overstaying in a free car park a few weeks apart.
When I initially researched the advice on here it overwhelmingly said to throw them in the bin and ignore as they were not worth the paper they are written on. Is that now different?

We have received the same letters with mine a few weeks ahead of the above. It has got to the letter stage where they may consider taking us to court and the latest one is a reduced offer to prevent court action. I assume I am going to get the next one from Graham white solicitors?

    What's our best next step?

    Thanks
  • Sorry...........
The registered keeper was not the driver in the 1 st post but was in my post.

Andrew please create your own unique thread below, we can't have multiple parking situations in one thread as it gets confusing - thanks
