i also used the code and spent more as my daughter wanted smoe other stuff.... :rolleyes: my total in the end came to £15.... i too recieved the cancellation email.. ah well ive just saved £15 and will now spend it at john lewis who fullfilled thier order when i spent zero at thier estore.... elc's loss

their loss I think, at the end of the day people will buy elsewhere and prob cheaper....I'm a registered childminder so my order was pretty substantial and worthwhile for them,

Will go and check out John Lewis didnt know you could shop online with them

Hi there, i receieved this email too,but the money has come off my card. So i have emailed them and reminded them of this.
If money has changed hands, I am sure there is a a retail contract.
will be worth checking out.

They've cancelled mine too, which is a bit short sighted of them as I was actually a new customer. Nothing to do with min spend tho' - got the 'the code wasn't given to you by us so you can't use it' email.

Oh well, won't be trying to shop there again!!

I tried and a message came up saying the discount has not been applied as I had not complied to the £30.00 mimum spend. They must have fixed their oversight! :mad:

i spent 50p over the £5 and i too had the email earlier but there is 50p missing from my bank account im waiting for it to show up on my online statement before i contact them

beware everyone i recieved my dispatched email on saturday then last night i got a cancellation email
my order came to £5.40 so only cost 40p with code but they have taken £5.40 from my account and having spoken to the lady at elc i have to refuse delivery then when they recieve order back i will get my money back
