2 Phones on one contract
Here's the thing. Best Beloved and I only really phone each other! So what we would like is 2 handsets on one contract where the calls between the 2 are free. Oh yes and I want to spend less than £30 per month
I've been mooching around the sites but can't find much -- Can anyone help????

most networks charge from £10/£14 upwards for a second phone on the same contract, that leaves you with only £15 potentially to get the contract minutes which probably means about 30-60 minutes a month maximum for anytime, or c.750/900 if you only call each other off peak. best bet is to get two of the cheap cashback contracts around, i.e. with 3 and doi that way, your £30 will go much further and you'll have double the minutes to uses0

Have you thought about Tesco PAYG which enables you to nominate a couple of numbers for half price calls. If you both had a Tesco SIM, that would come out at 10p per min, which for £30 would get you 300 mins per month. Probably a lot better than quite a lot of contract deals (and you are not paying rental for periods in which you dont use your phones i.e. when on holiday together).
At weekends you could use something like 18866 from a fixed line which comes out at only 3p per min.0 -
Woby_Tide is right; 2nd phones on contracts tend to be poor deals, unless they themselves come with cashback or discount. Get 2 separate deals, same network. You can still put them both on one account if you want.0

Some of their cashback deals are very good, and i see that in some cases they throw in a FREE second line!0
