I have booked the day off and have all the evidence for the court hearing. Its in the meantime should I respond to the emails they have sent or leave it till court?0

I personally wouldn't waste anymore time or energy.
Keep it simple, by having a rent statement showing the rent payable, and the rent paid.
Have proof by means of your bank account to show these payments if questioned.
If you prove your case, ask the judge that the social landlord is not allowed to add the costs to your rent account.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
I have printed all correspondence, bank statements and have sorted the rent statements out so my file for court is organised and good to go.
Thank you, I just didnt want them to come the not kept in contact codswallop - when I checked back through my correspondence it turned out I had been in contact with the rent team and my HO much more than I thought.0 -
Try and have your papers organised so that you can find everything quickly.
Don't turn up with a trolley load of box files.
Rent statement to hand.
Bank statements in date order to hand.
Correspondence to hand.

its an archive file with the information for the last 12 months in date order lol
