After 3 letters from "debt collectors" I have today received a letter from APCOA saying they have received my appeal letter and have cancelled the charge.

    Thanks for your help!!!

Hmmmm...are we seeing a pattern of cancellations by PPCs where the motorist has pointed out that railway, port authority or airport bylaws preclude registered keeper liability under POFA? I wonder if the BPA Ltd have sent out some memo or other...

Well done, glad to hear it worked - even months after you sent it. Did you actually complain to the BPA etc. or not?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

......... saying, 'You are scamming people when you have absolutely no legal right, so cease operations at airports. Well OK, carry on and continue to screw anybody daft enough to cough up, but anyone appealing (yes, we know they're a pain in the @ss) just cancel the charge, as in the long run it will mean you can continue fleecing for a lot longer'.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Documentation sourced via Companies House show that one of the current directors of APCOA (and all associated APCOA subsidaries) - Mr Graham Richard Morphew is also a current serving director on the board at the BPA - conflict of interests for complaints then! How do we complain about this?? - shall we start another thread?
