giving 3 notice to end contract
Hi,
I took out a 3 contract that was connected on 6 July 2006 on a free 12 month cashback deal. I'm sorry to be so dense but I have read that there can be a problem cancelling and not getting the 13th bill to claim the cashback, so was wondering what date I should phone them to cance. Should I phone on the 6 June or leave it a couple of days? Or even longer?
Thanks for any help

Shameless bump
My 12th bill is being prepared tomorrow (8th) Is it safe to ring up and cancel with 30 days notice after it has been done or is there a chance they will cancel the bill and try and combine my 12th and 13th bills?
I hope someone can help me

give them a call and ask! 333 from your handset, i'm sure they will be pretty happy to let you knowSLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
StudentPanel: £250 -
I would have thought it is unlikely, as they will need to wait til the end of your 30 days notice in order to generate a bill to include any call costs from the notice period.0

I gave notice yesterday and I was told my last bill would be delayed 2 weeks so as to catch any international calls I might have made in the run up to my contract ending.
Give them a call and ask them to clarify your situation.0 -
hi mustbemad...i think hornet_boys is right
your last bill will be generated about 10 days(i think) after the last day of your contract so as to reflect any out-of-tariff expenditure
i read in some other forum that the best way to ensure receiving your last bill is indeed to incur any form of out-of-tariff expenditure (eg. calling 0845/0870/0800 numbers, texting an overseas number, exceeding your allotted minutes etc)0
