Shocking bill

Just got a bill from EDF saying they are putting our direct debit for gas and electric up to £453 a MONTH!!!!!!!!!

Theres two of us living in three bed bungalow, my partner is away at least three days a week and its just me, I seldom have the central heating on and am out a lot myself,
Has anyone else got a monthly bill like this?

and according to our bill we are using
106.2 kWh per day for Gas
33.43 kWh per day for Electric

That seems to be double the national average for gas and 4 times the national average for electricity

the bills are current readings and they tally but are obviously slightly higher now than last week when the meter was read.

My main concern is the average daily usage readings.
106.2 kWh per day for Gas
33.43 kWh per day for Electric

3 -4 days a week its just me in the house, we have a hot tub and that costs around a £1 a day to run and apart from the tv and fridge/freezers and the odd lightbulb theres nothing else on.

They have also given us an estimated bill for the next 12 months which comes to £2,554.66
we are currently (according to EDF" £750 in arrears now even adding those two figures together doesn't warrant a £450 a month DD
We would end up paying £5400 for the year?????

When we first got it we turned it on and watched the meter, granted it went quite quickly, we then turned it off and turned the Hoover on, it wasn't that much difference. :)
She said, "we will just Hoover up a bit less" :rotfl:

    Thats just it, there isnt.

Im at a loss as to why we are paying double the National average for gas usage and 4 times the NA for electric per day.
