    Thank you pinklady.

Hopefully once you return to full time you will be able to get your teeth stuck into those credit card bills.

I fell into the trap of just making minimum payments and now everything on BNPL ends end of October realising I will be hit with about £900 on interest, that is what gave me a kick up the behind. Now I've worked out a proper budget and without spending stupid amounts on food shopping and not buying things I don't really need I can until the middle of September make some large overpayments. In oct my income will reduce by £160 so these large payments will reduce slightly hoping to recoup somewhere else though.

Used a £4.50 off £30 yesterday so I should have enough food to last for at least 2 weeks, have about £90 to last till 15th.

    Have a great day

And pinklady I'm too hoping to go abroad but it won't be till next oct half term, it's just sooo expensive I'm probably looking at 3.5k to take 7 of us eek!

But everything should be paid by middle of march and all of my money can go on saving for nice things :).

Have neglected my diary, just been busy with one thing and another!

Had a lapse and brought things from the catalouge, not happy with myself at all, something's were necessary like school uniform, I can't justify the coffee machine or fire for the living room, can maybe justify the chest freezer and carpet cleaner! All are on BNPL and will be paid off before they incur interest. I may have to push clearing the catalouge completely though a couple of mths.

My car is broke too its currently sitting outside until I can get it to a garage, no budget to fix this so my planned savings this mth will have to go towards getting it fixed. I really hope I can keep it running until everything is paid off then I can start saving for something newer, which will probably mean no holiday next year as I had planned.

Need to work out a new budget for aug-sept and stick to it!!

Still haven't got car sorted, haven't a clue how much it's going to cost hopefully no more than £100 which I can take from savings, although that will be all my savings gone.

Decided that I need to set a limit to how much I spend in items for the house. All big items have been purchased, it's just small things to make it look homely, so I think I'll set aside £60 a mth for these things until I have the house how I want it.

Still need to work on aug-sept budget, will try and do today.

Decided to take a different approach on some of the debts too in regards to which ones need paying off first, so I need to sit down and plan this too.

    Jobs to do today:-

2 loads of washing dried on line, apart from towels
    Put away dried washing
    Sort out recycling
Clean and tidy 2 cupboards in kitchen
    General tidy

Sat down and worked out aug-sept budget, with making overpayment to catalouge and putting money into savings I should still be left with about £90.

Now aiming to pay everything apart from £500 od by 31st march. Then I can start saving for a holiday hopefully.

    Today's jobs:-

    General tidy
    2 loads of washing
    Put washing on line
    Put washing away

Paid another overpayment of £40.80 off cat as new budget starts tomorrow. Also put £120 into saving but this is earmarked for the car if I ever get it to a garage.

Handed in my divorce papers on Thursday, just waiting for them to tell me how much I need to pay. If i have worked out correctly going by their information it will be £115 which I have already saved.

Have decided that saving for a new car is more important than a holiday abroad next year. Plan is to hopefully get car up and running, tax is due oct, mot in nov and keep it going till early next year until then keep making overpayments on things.

I'm going to book a week in this country for the kids then a short break away with OH.

Really need to get to FF tomorrow armed with vouchers, hoping dad will take me, I've been popping to the local shop and its just so expensive.

Will have to adjust budget for aug-sept as I need to pay an affiliation fee plus deposits for holidays which I wouldn't book now but deposits are only £25 at the moment.

Was up bright and early this morning to put the bins out, usuallyiss them!

Paid minimum payment on 1 store card of £24.89 but rounded it up to £25.

Brought some things for the house stuck to my budget got £10.43 left earmarked for a new porch mat.

Tweaked budget to included holiday deposits and affiliation fee.

Seem to be constantly changing budget and debt free date changing but I figured we also need some kind of life. I'm going to continue making overpayments just maybe not as much. Hoping to pay all my current debt off by end of July.
