Ooh excellent, if you get the catalogue paid off by January that will be a massive boost for you! Have you just made plans to cut back and use the extra money for the catalogue or have you got extra income ideas?

I'm always looking for extra income ideas!! ;)

No extra money unfortunately, just tightening the purse strings and not wasting money. Have reduced DD1 mobile on upgrade to £13 per mth saving £8, also need to cancel gym membership which is £19.99. So little things here and there.

I have had a really busy week and have neglected my new diary already!!

I have sat down and worked everything out though 10 times over. I've worked out the catalouge could be gone the end of December if nothing else changes, have no large unexpected bills and overpay as I have planned. Have overpaid £628 this mth by tightening my belt a lot, did not want to be hit with over £150 in interest.

Hopefully then be able to pay everything else off by end of March :).

Pretty hard working out payments when I have money coming in weekly, 4 weekly and monthly a real juggling act.

On budget so far this month can't wait till next week which is when my budget for the month starts again.

Feeling optimistic this time round, the thought of being able to save for things I want instead of paying out towards debts is a great motivator.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Went on a school trip yesterday, woke up with 2 big swellings on my leg and it hurts!!

Looking alright on the money front, budgeted till 18th which is when I get CTC. Should still have around £40 spare unless anything crops up. I will use this to put towards DD1 birthday which is at the end of July.

Finally managed to get my divorce papers filled in signed and ready to go, unfortunately it's taken me so long to so and save up the £340 I've now found out the fee has risen to £410!! So the extra will have to found on the 18th. I should be able to get a part remission on this though, they want net income monthly and I'm not sure how to work out CTC & WTC for this as I receive CTC 4 weekly and WTC weekly. Maybe x 52 and divided by 12 for the weekly?

Anyway children find out what class they will be in in September this afternoon, hopefully they will all be happy.

    Have a good day everyone

Paid £605.10 off catalogue this morning, still need to make min payment yet but will do that in a week or so. Before I would wait till the end of the mth to see if I had any money left to make an overpayment now I've decided to just make it when I get paid as I just wasted money and making an overpayment just didn't happen. Luckily I've been able to pay a lot off this mth due to CTC being backdated. So on track for paying off in December :j.

Last day at school for 3 of the children and for me till sept :j

Need to go food shopping after work, need to remember vouchers. Hoping to spend no more than £75 to last the week.

Woo Hoo!! I bet that was a good feeling! Thats a brilliant payment :T

I'm sure you'll manage to stick to your food shopping budget, especially if you have vouchers, plus you'll be feeling all motivated and positive after paying over £600 towards your catalogue.

Hope you have a good last day at school, we're almost finished our second week here in Scotland, its been glorious weather so far!

It was a good feeling, just hope I can keep up with overpaying.

Stuck to my food budget too, have £160 in budget to last till 15th Aug should be able to do it although the kids are off now which means everything won't last as long.

Have spent on SC1 though which isn't really good although I needed a few things and haven't spent anything on the house for a while, not too concerned though as this is my target to pay off by middle of march.

Made myself a list of things to do today which consists of-

    Sort porch cupboard
    Clean porch
    Clean shower room
    Sort under the stairs
    Sort coat rack
    Sort shoe box
    Clean dining room
    Clean living room
    Clean sofas
    Wash cushion covers
Write letter to go with papers I need to send for a remittance

Not sure i will get this all done but at least half would be good.

    Have a good day everyone

Didn't get to do anything on my list yesterday apart from clean the porch which was done by DD1!

Going into school for a few hrs this morning to get things ready for September then my holiday begins. Really want to use this time to declutter the house and properly sort things out, feel I've let things slip a little the last few months.

Brought myself 4 dresses yesterday but I have no summer clothes and it came out of savings so I don't feel too guilty. Also brought some uniform for the children on Friday ready for September which was also budgeted for to save the mad dash end of August, will just need to buy them all shoes and DS1 needs some new trainers. Will come out of savings if I save it in the first place:rotfl:.

Must write letter to go with fee remittance today, just hope my copy bank statements come through!

    Have a nice day

I am still avidly reading kerron, and you did good in paying off that lump sum on a debt, just wish i could, i go back to work full time middle of september so hoping not only to make a big dent in mine and hubbies credit card bills but also plan a holiday abroad, I have a car loan finishing jan 14 and central heating loan finishing may 14 so that should be good too

keep up with the hard work and i enjoy your updates :)
