Second time around!

Options
Right this is my second LBM, the first kind of failed and my debts have increased quite a bit mainly due to moving and having to buy furniture for the house.

A bit about me! I am in my early 30's and have 4 children under the age of 13. Since my first LBM 2 years ago I have moved house, started work and met a lovely man who has now moved in with us.

I feel very determined this time to get rid of the debt, I want to take the children abroad next year as they have never been and start planning for our dream wedding :).

First thing I want to tackle is the catalogue as this has a lot of BNPL'S coming to an end which are going to incur a lot of interest.

Will try and update daily to keep me on track and motivated.

Wish me luck!!

I really do hope so, aiming to pay everything off within a year so I need to be strong and not give in to buying things we do not need.

Need to try and save £100 per mth as well for school uniform, shoes, car tax etc. and for those things that just crop up unexpectedly.

If there is any money left after paying all bills and putting away the £100 I am going to use this to overpay the catalogue! Also need to start thinking of xmas soon and I have 2 of the childrens birthdays in July although I have budgeted for 1 of them.

    Good luck to you too!

    Thank you Pinklady:)

I work 25hrs in a school for me to work more with the cost of child care isn't really viable.

I'm also saving 1,2 and 5p's and will bank these every month and pay off catalogue, every little helps!

Won't be a no spend day today as I need to get bread and DD1 something for school lunch tomorrow.

No of course I don't, he does help around the house washing up, laundry, hoovering, cuts the grass he's pretty good.

Just checked online banking and an unexpected payment from child & working tax credits has gone in. I have just started a joint claim the back pay from this went in last week but then I did update details to increase income as the previous year was only based on me working oct-April. Not sure what its for until award papers are received so I've transferred this into another account until I know it's mine.

Made a payment to SC1 this morning of £94 will update totals once statement is received.

Morning, dull here although its early and time for the sun to come out.

Spent £16 on some makeup, shampoo and conditioner kind of planned and on buy one get one half price. Not planned spending £21 at md,s but I was just too tired to cook and i will take this out the food budget.

Spent ages working out budgets last night as best as I could and if I'm really good I could pay off catalogue by Jan :j. Massive incentive as this is the biggest debt and means I can then throw all that money at paying everything else off and being debt free in less than a year.

Hope everyone has a great day!
