Oh dear
Another red week for me.
This weekly budget malarkey is not going well. and considering I have been doing it for 18 months at least I am getting worse.
I thought it would get easier having little one around, and if hubby was at work I would probably be doing ok, but we constantly go to the shops or are doing something.
So far £55.97 / £50
Oh well, however I absolutely need to ensure I have enough savings for when I have no income, months 9 - 12 of maternity leave. so will be doing some workings out over the weekend.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Aargh - already up at £253.40 / £265 thanks to the new undies and PJs that I just had to buy for my hols!
If I can manage to contain my spending to £11.60 at the airport, I'll just about make it...
Oh well, back to normality when I get back - already worked out I have around £190 from w/c 14th July till w/c 29th July so will be watching the pennies again :rotfl:
ETO - good luck with the workings out :money:SPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -

Thanks for the well wishes, FlyingGiraffe.

Hi folks, trying to reign my spending in so have joined a couple of new challenges and would love to join this one too.
Apart from food shopping I have no essential buy this week. My main spends has been on eating out and takeaways recently and I really need to stop this.
Aiming for a spend of £15 or less between now and Sunday (end of the week).0 -
welcome Allie! I know I struggle with not frittering money but this is helping
Good luck! 0 -
Thanks Splodgethefirst. No spends planned for today so still have my £15 budget.
Food shopping done today and planned a picnic in the park for tomorrow with my sister and her 2 girls so that will cost nothing too.0 -
