Were you off work completely and signing on or were you employed and on the sick?
Did you apply by post or online? When was this?

You have to have been unemployed for the insurance to have been mis-sold to you.

Applying online means you mis-bought the insurance, since no one sold it to you.

Trouble is, if you paid any PPI on a credit card it would be itemised on your monthly statement, so it's difficult to see how you wouldn't [STRIKE] no [/STRIKE] know you were paying it?

Not an excuse, nor a reason to complain!

If you didn't look at statements, how did you know how much to pay each month.

Taken out on line means you chose to take it out, so miss bought rather than miss sold.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

thanks but I was on direct debit and paid min every month. I still believe I was mis sold as didn't no I had it. I am going to ask to see terms of ppi as think I wouldn't be covered under pre exisiting conditions. thanks for help

You can't be mis-sold something that wasn't sold in the first place. If you'd checked your statements you would have known you'd had it. Without being rude, you're apportioning the blame in the wrong place here.
