    This guy has just done something similar and nearly had to cancel his trip - see March 22 - http://www.thelastditch.org/2013/03/index.html - good luck

    Also maybe some of the US insurers with operations here can help eg Locktons who have a large UK classic department

    I suspect it may also depend on the value of your vehicle

    The cost of freight/shipping/bonds/etc will be pretty tasty - is there a promoter behind the event who could help point you towards an insurer? Remember you'll need to consult on what insurance product you'll need for whilst it's in freight/docks too
