  • Hi Martin. I am one of the few which where sent the hull court strike out letter. The bank (lloyds t.s.b) did not send their questionaire back in time so it should have gone in my favour anyway. When I rang Hull court they were very evaisive. I have recieved a date in July to attend court after I sent all details of my claim as requested by the court. I since have recieved an offer from lloyds t.s.b for £524, my claim was for around £1500. I have refused this amount by letter to the bank but it was still put in our account. regards Beth Wood.
  • I have just returned from holiday to find I am one of the Hull 20, letter was sent on 30th, I have sent the draft letter making an application for the decision to be set aside even though it is over the seven days, I'm hoping that as i did not receive it untill the 12th they will accept my application, I have e mailed Martin and await my call. Sounds like it will be a fun day at court.

Hi i am one of the 20 who had their case threateened to be struck out on the 4th July. i contacted Martin and the CAG and got the letter through from the solicitor who is going to be there on the 4th to represent everyone.

I then got a leter through yesterday from Lloyds TSBs solicitors and they have offered me the full amount including interest and court charges as full and final settlement, nearly 3000 pounds

The banks are running scared, good luck to you all!!!
  • I,m one of the 20. I have sent my phone number to Martin by email. SHould I be doing anything else at the moment as I have not heard anything else yet and I am just following the advice to wait for someone to contact me.:confused:
  • I'm with panalty charges on this issue. If everyone concerned turns in the letter posted above for set aside then, the Hull Court would have to listen however, Hull since it became self funding doesn't accept letters, I'm told!
  • ok, so a year on, and still nothing on the reclaiming front! anyone know where we are at with it all?

My MIL had a claim going and had had correspondence from Hull court just before the stop was put on claims..infact, she had won her claim by default as the bank failed to respond, so what will she need to do once/if things get started again? Will she need to put a new claim in or will the old claim be picked up where it was left kind of thing?
love my little man he is amazing :j

There is no need to re-file a claim with the court or the bank.

Under the terms of the FSA waiver the bank is under an obligation to contact all claimants once the test case litigation is complete.

If she has a judgement by default then she is not going to get paid out since by definition she has the judgement and it is up to her to enforce it. This will prompt them to either (a) pay out or ( b) to get the judgement set aside. In fact, I would probably write to the bank so that they can get (b) done.
