You may have a problem with malware. A slow connection will never make your Browser freeze.0 -

Ring sky and demand they put your line to a reasonable speed, I had 02 broadband a few years ago and got 14mb changed to sky and got 2mb. Spoke to customer services who said it was my line and all the rest of that rubbish but I demanded they up my speed to 14mb the same as 02 or I would be off, customer advisor went away to talk to manager and when he came back my speed was upgraded 15mb and still is. So I think sky try to push there luck with you in the speeds they advertise and the ones they want to give !0 -
Its your pc, not the connection if the browser crashes. Im on o2 and had no issuesDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I'm waiting to be transferred to Sky on Friday and I'm still waiting on delivery of the router. Following a further costly telephone call I'm told the tracking number for the last one that was supposedly sent was wrong so its never going to arrive, a replacement is supposed to be getting send out today but I'm not confident. Sky don't seem to be in the slightest bit concerned that I ordered the service on 21st June, they have arranged for a BT engineer to visit on 5th July to install the fibre box but I've still not received their router which I need for when the BT engineer turns up.
If this is how rubbish they are at sending out a router I'm dreading the rest of the service!0 -
Sky have a 10 day DLM period where the quickest speed your line can handle is determined.
They start off low and gradually raise it so it is as fast as possible and still stable.
You shouldn't switch your router off within this 10 day period.0 -
I regretted leaving O2 because Sky was very slow and the router kept cutting on, annoying when you're online gaming.
With Tesco now (no laughing) and having no problems at all. And it's half the price.0
