Thanks, Kazza - curiously the account is not linked from the Society's Savers section, only by selecting Affinity and then Blackburn Rovers Affinity Accounts.
Account holders can, in June only, adjust the amount for regular monthly deposits in the coming 12-month period. Interest payment was due May 30th, so perhaps people registered to log-in can observe their gain.
spamberler - it may be useful to follow Kazza's link so you can evaluate whether the account is suitable for you. For instance, minimum age requirement. Perhaps you can post your findings in this thread, helping others possibly interested in the account.0 -

Yes, I believe so. To open this regular saver customers have to open a nominated easy access account at the same time. One of the accounts that can be opened for this purpose is called Young Rovers which is for 0 - 21 year olds. Therefore the regular saver must be available to 0 - 21 year olds too (as well as people over 21).Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
Thanks, quinlanmd. I'm impressed with speed of the log-in for Chorley Bdg Soc. Extending the view of online statements beyond 3 months is faster than those on sites of major banks (eg HSBC, where we have to delete all dates). Staff also respond swiftly, politely and efficiently to secure online messaging - unlike HSBC, Nationwide BS + numerous others, in my family's experience. Norwich + Peterborough BS is another efficient one, although less polite.0

Is the Chorley regular saver available outside of local postcodes? The information page is down this evening. I looked at the application form but it seems that you have to open the account for the funds to go to at the end of the year first as there is a space for account number. Which is the best to open does anyone know? I like online where possible so I can withdraw my money easily at the end of the year. Thanks for any advice - Chorley is a good rate and a regular saver I wasnt aware of.0

Yes, it is. I don't live anywhere near them, yet they opened an account for me.moneylover wrote: »I looked at the application form but it seems that you have to open the account for the funds to go to at the end of the year first as there is a space for account number. I went for their Paid Up share account as my nominated account choice because of it's low minimum opening balance of £25.Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
Did I read the account info wrongly? I looks like this account only lasts a year?0

Yes, it does only last 12 months. Though there is the option to start another one after maturity. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
Thanks. I think I'll pass on this one. I am wanting my finances to be less time consuming at the moment. This is because I feel drained after my two bank account transfer experiences. Not smooth at all. Theres money saving and obsessing!!
Any news on Yorkshires regular saver moving rates?0
