Difference between sky+hd box and sky hd box

Are the cables on these boxes different? I have hd + box at the minute and the cable from the dish is double? My multiroom box is the old white ones and the cable for this is a single.
If I upgraded multiroom to hd box would the cable also have to be upgraded and could I put the +box in the room?
Thanks

HD+ box allows you to record up to 2 channels at the same time, hence the need to two feeds from the dish. The HD box has no recording facility and only needs one feed from the dish. A multiroom HD box can use the same cable as a non-HD box.0
