    It is normal for Vodafone to send confirmation of a verbal upgrade or new new contract within 48 hours of the agreement being made. This will show the line rental, the contract start and end date, plus any agreed discount.

    It the poster in the linked thread did not receive this, it should have been queried.

    You are right, I did not check the bills when they came through as I trusted Vodafone to get it right!!!! - it doesn't make me stupid or wrong - just naive - Lesson learnt - don't trust Vodafone!!

    Lesson learnt - check your bill.

    If you had checked your bill as you should have done, you would have been able to query this when you received the first bill in March and not waited a further three months.
