Letter from crediter saying pay £0.00

i have received a letter from my my creditor saying if i pay £0.00 in the next 45 days then they will clear the remaining balance owed and close my account. So i phoned them and they said it was sent in error and i can't do this ????

Tell them you won't pay - but offer them half the balance in full and final settlement...0

I have also received a letter stating the same, mine is from RMA Resolve. Is yours?

it's a shame it isn't for just a few pence, or perhaps £5. then you could have sent a cheque, paid by FP, and argue that you have agreed to their proposal0
