So yesterday was a SFD. I was very close to nipping to the shops when I got hungry after lunch, however Dad went out and bought all the office ice buns, so that meant I didn't need to go out myself! Hoorah!

Today is shopping day. I have a budget and a list and I'm going to stick to it. I need to buy my lunch today as I was out of all lunch things at home this morning, this will be coming out of my shopping budget.

OH is going to be away tomorrow night, so I think I will list quite a few bit on the bay ready for free listing this weekend. I have got quite a bit of stuff to sort out and I reckon it will all go well (fingers crossed!)

Not a lot to report today, still ticking along and I'm still as motivated as ever.

I had a good time shopping last night, I stuck to the budget and managed to get everything on my list.

I'm a bit worried about this weekend as I am meeting up with friends, I'm hoping it's not going to be an expensive one so I will be careful with my pennies!

I've been AWOL with regards to updating my diary over the past couple of days. However, I have been very good at keeping to my budgets and doing no unnecessary spending! I am feeling really proud of my achievements this month. And I am hoping that it continues!

So, what news do I have....Hmmmmm, not a lot really! I must start decluttering our little home and there is loads of bits that I want to list on ebay, but it's just finding the time to list it all.

I have just found out that I have been approved for the £50 gift voucher from Sainsbury's for my BT contract. So this combined with £80 cash back from Quidders means that I have made a tasty sum. So this is great. However, it is my OH's birthday this weekend and he has expensive tastes and what he wants is going to cost me. Especially as I have already got him a lovely meal out (through living social). Not sure what to do here!

I am waiting to update my totals, there should be some interest showing on my FD cc, but it hasn't appeared yet. Hopefully it will show tomorrow and I will able to give an accurate account of my accounts!!!

I think this is all I have to report today!

  • Hi avogirly,

Glad to hear you're doing well with the budgets etc - keep up the good work! Brilliant that you will qualify for the £50 sainsburys card, thats always a bonus when you get cashback.

What is it that your OH wants if you don't mind me being nosey?! Can you maybe contribute towards it, or go together with his parents or something so that you don't have to foot the whole bill?
