Try this, might not work but its worth a try.

Go to the top and click Tools then Internet Options.

Then click the Privacy Tab. Then Click Sites.

Type http://www.bournemouth.ac.uk/ into the box and thn click Allow then ok.

    Type going on it now.

Thanks - tried it but no success I'm afraid. It is saying, website found, waiting reply - but it has been waiting for a reply for ages!!

sometimes my wireless router has a sulk with a couple of specific websites. I switch it off, have a cuppa, try again and it's fixed itself.

I remember not so long ago after getting a new wireless router I couldn't access a specific website (might have been google or something, which would have been a pain). The problem completely disappeared when I upgraded it's firmware for some reason.

Post exactly what Firefox says and also what Internet Explorer says when you attempt to access it.

Try running www.ccleaner.com (untick Yahoo toolbar when installing) and clear temporary files for IE and FF (on Applications tab).
