Please help - cannot access website

Hello all

I'm hoping this is the right place for this and someone out there will be able to help. A friend of mine is researching Universities and is trying to get on one particular site but having no joy using my computer as she doesn't have one at the moment. We can access everything else our heart desires, but not one particular university website! Apparantly the website is not down and available to access but we cannot and is really frustrating and I'm worried it might put her off applying there!!!!!!

Do you think that my computer just doesn't like the website? I've tried accessing it different ways, by googling it and going via different departments but not having any joy at all.

If I tell you the website, could someone out there have a go and see?

Oh yes that would be helpful , it is: https://www.bournemouth.ac.uk - for bournemouth uni.

I don't understand then why it wont work on my computer? I'm having no problems with any other websites, just the one I particularly need to access which is typical. Well I have no idea what the problem is then....

What are you using to go onto the Interent? Interent Explorer etc

It is really frustrating because it just doesn't make any progress - I don't get a page saying site cannot be found it just never loads......

Try this, might not work but its worth a try.

Go to the top and click Tools then Internet Options.

Then click the Privacy Tab. Then Click Sites.

Type http://www.bournemouth.ac.uk/ into the box and thn click Allow then ok.

Type going on it now.

Have you tried firefox or opera to see if they work?
