    I was just wondering if anyone else had been given those details. I've used the account details off the bill and the new ones off the website and they both work. Not sure where that advisor got those details from.

    Just think how the system works.
    You press submit and it then contacts the payee's bank. Their system then has 10 secs to approve the transaction or it is fallback approved.
    The system then has to do its internal stuff.
    It will have a timeout set in the system if it gets stuck and cannot complete. It will then give a error message. It could be that someone has set this at 10 secs so if the banks system was slow or there was a link issue it will say declined. Despite the bank giving the OK.

    Staff at the CC or Co. Will not be able to see if any payment has been taken as they cannot see any accounts the money will be going to or actual requests.
    All they can see is that their system says DECLINED. NOT that your bank has approved the transaction.

    Which is why you need to check with your bank and then tell the company that there is a auth in place.
