Give postage options to the buyers, RM, collect+ & Myhermes, that way they can decide for themselves.
When I emptied my wardrobe I capped the postage, (I used DHL, now Yodel, at the time) a huge amount about 25kg cost £8.99, so I put the RM costs per item, offered combined P&P & said that up to the 25kg would be £8.99, most people bought quite a few things as it was cheaper than buying from someone else.

Couldn't you re-donate the clothes back to the charity shop again?

Couldn't agree more with you dave, some of the items I see on eBay and I think "do you really need that 99p,can't you just give it to charity?" :undecided

Save for those who honestly need those extra pennies, I think some folks are just a bit mean, imo..

I sell a lot of used clothes on Ebay. Photos are the main thing to get right. I put all my clothes on a mannequin. If Im selling a top I will photograph it with a skirt or trousers and also have a selection of necklaces that I put on the mannequin to give an idea of how a completed outfit would look.

Brands obviously sell best, river island, per una, next etc and out of season sales work well. I sold loads of summer clothes in Jan and Feb because people are taking holidays before the summer srtock arrives in stores.

I also find that if something dost sell it is worth re listing on the free weekends, if stuff is decent it does sell eventualy. I had one dress that I listed 4 times before it sold but them it made more than I had expected it to.

I never start at 99p either, if your stuff is decent then a 99p starting price dosnt reflect that. I start at 3.99 or 4.99, make sure I only sell items I know I can post within the £2.60 price band and it works for me.

immie said include a stock photo for the garment if possible, which I think is very good advice. I take lots of pictures of the actual item I am selling but also try to get a stock photo so they can see what it looks like 'on'.

Yep, thanks for reminding me why I don't sell clothes. ;)
