Oh well. lesson learnt and yes the operative word was FEELING!! And yes I do not take my children out of school for holidays, my choice I know, but their education
    comes first.

    Hi Sally
I guess you had no joy on cancelling and rebooking or price guarantee then.

Just go and enjoy the holiday you booked, hope you have a great one. :)

I am lucky that both mine are under 4 so I can be more flexible with dates, and next year will be the last time we can get good late deals with my daughter starting school the following year!! I will no doubt get a shock at the holiday prices then!

Good for you :T. I suspect most the price difference is down to flights and empty seats more than the tour operator.

Overpriced, yes some, but if its any consolation we can't go abroad this year as we have to prep. for eldest's 11+, can't get time off work etc..

So I am very jealous, love Greece, looking out the window now and its 3rd July, its raining as usual, a 'blistering' 16 degrees :(

I wish I were going... and hit me with the MSE bible but would at almost any price right now!

    Have a great time :)

........ that is until you get them off to uni [or whatever], then it's party time again :)
If you think feels that's a long way off, think again :(
