Hello everyone,
Havent posted for a while and a few of you may remember my.... anguish with BT. Anyway, the outgoings have tuely nailed us now and Ive gotta move home with my mum and my missis with her mum and dad. Anyway, enough of the feeling sorry for myself and the question I pose to you.
As we are moving home and my GF's mum has Telewest and my mum wont have a landline, where do we stand with BT?
Regards
Dave

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

OK, having looked at the past issue, yes you do. However you got your line before the new 'hold to term' started, so you should eb able to cancel teh line for under £20. Do you have Broadband? The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20

Yeah we have broadband.
So we can cancel the lot for £20 and not have to pay anything else?

The Broadband will still be held to term.
DMass, you should be fine yeah. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20 -
As long as you took out the BT Landline before the 1/5/2007 you can still cancel it for £18,or foc if you have completed minimum term.
If you took out a 12/18 month call package at same time as you took landline and its still within contract your have to pay this off.
If the broad band is still within contract you will have to pay off remainder of BT Broadband 12/18 month contract.0
