    The advert said 200 guineas

I think I must have turned the dial to 1923 by mistake

I think in 5 years they'll have reached the 2007 peak again, and in 10 they'll have gone up by another ~10%

in 10 years, capitalism wil have failed, all industries will have ceased

We will be living in caves/ruins, eating rats and fighting each other for survival

Except for london, london will be cut off with its own thriving economy still in tact, made up of foreign investors who do not actually live there

Also, due to technological advancements, a few terminators will be about, picking us off
  • The average property price in June 2018 will be 15,681 ounces of silver, shorty will still be warning us of impending doom and Graham will rack up his 200,000th post.

Graham will rack up his 200,000th "very worrying stuff" post.

    Fixed that for you.

He'll also hold the Guinness World Record for being "The Most Worried Man Alive". :D

    UK average:

    5 years - £270,000
    10 years - 2,750,000 yuan

I work for a mortgage adviser

I have amended the standard mortgage adviser signature because, even though I do not provide financial advice directly, I support and follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. My posts are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice.

Yes and that Yuan will be the new reserve currency of the world, it will be backed by gold. China are loading up on the shiny stuff while they can get so much of it for so few units of fiat currency.

As soon as they have enough things will get interesting for the US$!!!!!!!!

I see no shortage of people arriving to swell the numbers in this overcrowded island. Given they all need to rent or buy somewhere to live, no doubt house prices will not fall drastically any time soon. We need to adjust to the fact that our children will not be able to jump on the property ladder as easily as we did.
