Virgin Mobile increases

Just received an email from Virgin to tell me that my contract is being increased next month by 2.9% p.a. 'in line with the RPI'. As I'm only 3 months into the 2 year contract, I feel irritated. Worth complaining to Virgin?

    Worth checking the contract first.

As Grumbler says check the T&C's in your contract.

If there is a clause which states they can raise the cost in line with inflation, then no, it's not worth complaining.
  • Yet more back up to my belief that 24 month mobile contracts are not the best idea (and I'm speaking as one who is 12 months into one - never again!)
