it was some console that took cartridges. i am not sure what it was called, for some reason grandstand comes to mind. i only remember us having pong to play on it. we then had an atari console with 2 games, air sea battle and asteroids. we had both a spectrum and c64 during the 80s. then it was a megadrive, ps1, xbox 360, ps3.

Amstrad CPC 464 was my first computer and thing I played games on. Particular favourites from that were chuckie egg and the wild bunch

My first console was a Sega game gear my grandparents got for me when I was in hospital for 7 weeks on traction with a broken leg when I was 12. Killed a lot of time in the hospital playing Sonic The Hedgehog
  • Commodore 64, i was on it every day! iloved playing Gauntlet and also a Bruce lee game I had, then it was the usual megdrive, dreamcast, snes never had an amiga though, bummed the playstation now I'm an xbox geekette =)
  • 1989 at the age of 3. My mum and dad bought me the orginal NES for christmas with Super Mario Bros. and duck hunt. Along with my new red Ferguson TV, it was the start of my gaming life!

    First was:

    Second was:

Which on launch had very expensive games but it was a big flop and I remember grabbing all the games for 50p each in Woolworths.

When I compare with my latest game the Last of Us gaming has come on enormously.

I recognise Donkey Kong, as I had one myself. But, what in god's name, is that thing in the bottom picture?

I'm not really sure when I started gaming but I remember when I was younger that my parents had a videopac system with those carts that had the handles on them :D and they would always let me play that and the grandstand system on a Sunday morning.

The 2600 was my first system that was just for me :D
