I sometimes wish I was born 10 years earlier (Born 1990) so that I could have watched gaming move forward from those eras into what it's become today. I love looking back and seeing how far things have come.

Had an Amstrad CPC 464 when I was a very little boy - such classic titles as Jet Set Willy (which I have since learned was bugged and thus could not be completed), Spiky Harold, Willow Pattern, Soccer Double (the original Football Manager!), Vampire Killer (totally rigged) and some RPG about a cat called Ceasar.

Next system was my dad's IBM PC something or other - titles such as Ninja Rabbits (yeah, that was messed up), International Soccer Challenge, Alien Breed and a few others.

Then I had my Pentium 75, which was later upgraded to a 133 - that's really where I started getting into games with classics such as Quake, Tomb Raider 1 & 2, Half-Life, Sim City 2000, Theme Hospital.

Built myself an Athlon system after that and then moved on from there over time.

Also have at various times owned a Mega Drive, Nintendo 64, Playstation and currently own an Xbox 360.

Started off in about '94/'95 (started young) with my Mum's SNES, mostly playing Super Mario World but occasionally branching into Mario All Stars or Yogi Bear.
My granddad bought me a Playstation about a year after release, it came with Spyro the Dragon and I never really played much more than that.
I did have a GameBoy too but can't pinpoint exactly when and all I ever played was Mario :D
Have since progressed onto other consoles/handhelds but I still own and play all the above :)

I also remember having the spectrum with the rubber keys. I remember thinking then that games like monkey island could never be beaten for longevity, graphics and gameplay. As far as I remember i spent as long changing discs as I did playing as it came on about 5+. How wrong was I.

I am now onto an xbox 360 which I cant do without.

Commodore 64 for christmas in 1989, whch came with Army Days and a few other light gun games. I didn't really get hooked until I got a megadrive in 1991 though, which my bro and I saved our pocket money up for.
