C64 for me too, back when games were on cassette tapes and took ages to load..
Also used to play heaps on the Amiga500 and NES.
Have a Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 at the moment and probably spend more time playing games on my phone and tablet than on all 3 consoles combined.0 -

I sold my entire collection a few years ago to go towards the house deposit fund.
The best bit I had was an orange gamecube, it was pure luck I ened up with a limited colour, I import from japan way before uk release and had the choice of 3 colours, I just picked my fave. It then ends up europe never saw the the orange console and I eventually sold it many years on for more than I paid for it after years of gaming.
My old snes and playstation are still in my dads kitchen hooked up to a portable CRT TV.
I think the biggest wow moment must have been playing tomb raider on the PS1, it looks dated now but the jump to an open(ish) 3D world was something else.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Yes me too, Christmas 1976. I wasn't even a small child at the time, I was 16 !
Then I moved on to a Mattel Intellivision, then to Commodore 64, then for a few years the 80's stopped playing games.
Got my first PC around 1990, and played PC games on a regular basis for about 15 years, but I also had an Amiga CD32 ( don't hear much about those these days !) and a Nintendo 64.
I gradually stopped playing about 10 years ago, but at that time I had a lot going on in my personal life, and never really started again.
But I couldn't resist this trip down memory lane.
Maybe as I head towards retirement I'll start playing againEarly retired - 18th December 2014

playing bug hunt, flight sim, ball blazer, ghostbusters, and others on the Atari XE platform.
then went onto the sega master system II.
my parents couldnt afford games consoles and had to save to buy whatever console we ALL wanted as a family to game on.
had a gameboy and spent hours playing tetris and supermario brothers.
had a SNES.
we had our first intel PC on windows 95, i played need for speed for ages, rayman, also has nascar racing but ruined the pc lots of times as the pc didnt support it at the time.
then had a nintendo gamecube wich i loved thought it was awesome with its tiny discs and played on resident evil series for hours.
then had a playstation.
now have a Wii and the PC.0 -
And me, my dad made us have one instead of a Spectrum as it was a "proper computer". Then saved to get a second hand Spectrum with hundreds of games on C90 tapes, hours spent loading them with the help of a small screwdriver to alter the tape heads to get a clean sound
.
Then I diverged into two separate streams, 1 computer, 1 console.
Amiga 500, remember having to buy a memory upgrade to take it from 512Kb to 1 meg (512kb cost £80:eek: in 1987)to play Dungeon Master, Amiga 1200 with 80MB HDD, then onto PC when Amiga died.
Consoles, had a Megadrive, N64, Game Cube, Wii, PS3 Wii U.0
