Orange unlock code Direct From Orange

Hi was just wondering if anyone has requested an unlock code from orange ?
As ive requested for my nokia fone and they said it will cost me £20 and wud take 5 to 7 working days .. well 5 dayz have already passed but nothing as yet .

I requested an unlock code from Orange last Sept and it took 3 weeks for them to finally send me the code. I kept phoning but don't know if it actually made any difference. But it won't hurt to call and remind them you're waiting!

I had to send my phone back to Nokia, they replaced it with one locked to Orange and Orange wanted another £20 to unlock it Fortunately I was able, with the help from this forum, to unlock it. (it was a 6630 so last year there was no option but to pay Orange :rolleyes:)

Check it when it does arrive. I asked for an unlock code to change networks and use other sims and they sent me a PAC to transfer my number to another network instead!!!

It did take them ages to send the unlock code.

I have been ringing them up everyday .. but no luck as we all are aware that their IVR system is absolutely crap and in shambles they keep transferring you 2 different people ...

network only atm (as you already know), the bb5 unlocker dont support this yet.

keep pestering orange, they should eventually send it out to you

Had my N80 unlocked through orange a couple of weeks ago. Instead of sending through the post I had it emailed to me. Came within 48 hrs as advised.
