Help - what's the best mobile deal for my needs

Hope someone can shed some light on this for me please - I currently have a 3 year old iPhone 4 - original contract expired so now I'm on a 12 month with 'three' giving 100 mins 500 texts & unlimited data all for around £11.00 a month

Problem is phones on its last legs and clients can't get through plus wifi signal keeps dropping out.

I'm prepared to go with a new contract if needed but I use a lot of data on work files & bbc I player when I'm working away - I need a decent size screen to view emailed drawings & ideally would like to be able to tether my laptop (for working away) at no extra charge.

Can anyone recommend a smartphone & provider with a suitable deal as they have all started to look the same !!
