I don't want to lose my home!!Help plz

I'm seperated and house is being done up to sell and profit being split 50/50 with ex. The problem is that I won't have enough to buy outright and don't want the money frittering away on rent.

Does anyone know if there is an equity scheme that would buy him out, maybe give me a lump sum, but basicly take over mortgage untill I snuff it?

I really don't want to leave my home and it's causing me so much worry at the moment wondering where I will end up.

thankyou
Dusky xxx

I just dont think anyone will be able to give you an equity release loan yet as clearly you are not old enough :o

How much will you come out with once the property is sold?

Was this split mutually agreed or decided by court? Sounds like you should be getting a much larger share of the marital home.

I don't like the sound of this split.

is your home adapted for your disability? If It is I suggest you contact your local social services for an assessment asap, as they may be able to advise on specialist accmodation for you.

If not, im afraid, this is the way it goes, I take it you have no children under 16 living with you do you?

It's a mutual desicion to split half and half. A. to avoid huge solicitors fees and B. to try and keep it civil without things geting nasty.
