Hi everyone, just looking in quickly as I'm quite busy today.
I saw my friend last night, and she gave me another pile of stuff to sell on eBay on her behalf.
We split the proceeds 50/50, so we both benefit from our arrangement, but I must admit there is quite a lot of work involved when I'm doing the photography and preparation. I'm actually quite shocked at how much 'stuff' she has for sale!
So I must run, have a good afternoonEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Afternoon,
Julie - Happy anniversary, will have to wait and see if bf and I can make it anywhere near to that together nevermind married!
Sat eating lunch at work contemplating when to go for a walk in to town, don't really need anything but it's nice to get out and walk. I saw a wool shop the other day that I want to go and investigate
Still clueless about dinner tonight - at this rate it will be beans on toast of some random noodle or mash dish!************************************

Thanks for all your good wishes. I'm loving all your romantic stories;)
He was 21. And I was just 16. Mum and dad were horrified because he was so much older but now think he's the best thing since sliced bread, I think so too:D
Managed to dry all the bits and bobs hanging around, the forecast is good until after the weekend fingers crossed.
Need to start thinking about Xmas pressies for Australia. I know its crazy but I post them by ship in August to save on costs plus they are at the height of summer so I try and buy them in the summer sales.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Happy Anni-wotsit. Julie67
I would have done 29 years this year (if I hadn't divorced the ex-h after 15 years!), now me & DH are almost 3 years down the line. Much happier, in a much healthier relationship
Am off work this week - we've had a few days up with my in-laws in Scotland, now I'm baking cakes for an event my SiL has organised at the weekend & my nephews 18th, then we're off for a wine/beer tasting near Henley tomorrow and a walk along the Thames Path.
I also have to go down to the allotment to harvest some peas & new pots to have for tea0 -
OH and I have been together for 27 years but only married for 18.
My parents however have known each since they were 3, started "courting" at 14, married at 21 and have just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary!:D
Happy anniversary Julie0 -
I met my husband when we were little. Me and my friend Doreen hung around the playground where he lived. We were 'into' boys and he was 'into' go carts and bikes.:D He used to try and get me to push him on his go cart and I refused. Doreen did though.
Then he disappeared. I found out many years later when he knocked on my door his Mother had sent him to boarding school. He had heard I was recently single and turned up with a mutual friends brother. He was a biker, long blonde hair and leathers and I was a girly girl in a dress.
My friends thought i'd gone mad. My Mother prayed my ex would come back on the scene.:DThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I was married to my first husband for 29 years and have been with OH for 23 years but we have only been married for 16 so a total of 45 years. I swapped my first model for an older one, much better!!0
