Bought some 11watt bulbs from IKEA today, they have expanded their range, no Bayonet caps only ES and SES.
Decent colour temperature, longevity unknown.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Ikea are funny like that, annoyed me too, need a couple of BC bulbs.
There CFL range was mostly the same as are their halogen bulbs.

The adaptors are cheap, feel good quality, and haven't failed so far (over a year).
I used them to adapt some bulbs bought in error.0 -
We just recently changed to LED as i realized that LED bulbs are much efficient.0
