...my particular policy (Table 20) attracts a 25% bonus at maturity.

just checked pp, and my Druids Sheffield Friendly Society TESP is "Plan: Table 20" too.

will soon be receiving annual bonus statements pp (are you still around here?)...which will be interesting.

i have been at Kingston Unity head office today.

i still just have a small Tax Exempt Savings Plan with them but am considering a Regular Savings Plan too, as i really like the way that bonuses are calculated based upon the Sum Assured rather than the investment made to date:T

Annual Bonus statements coming through pp?

Kingston Unity have paid me 23.16% on this year's investment (accepting that this is based upon committing to invest for 10 years).

i've received TESP statements from Kingston Unity, Healthy Investment and Sheffield Mutual now.

nothing from Druids Sheffield though...which i understand, from pp, is standard. I will get in touch with them to ask for an update.

The Druids are a different mutual, that is for sure. It turns out that my Plan with them is not classified as a TESP afterall....i'm not unhappy with what i have, but it certainly wasn't very clear.

i have a spare £5/m allowance to invest in a TESP now;). any ideas pp? i don't think many allow such a small monthly investment, so i may go with another small Kingston Unity TESP.

I've been wondering why I keep seeing discussion about friendly societies, which I always thought the conventional wisdom was not to touch with a bargepole. Now I understand why... 5 consecutive replies to keep this thread at the top of the board is :spam: in anyone's books.

Yeah, planteria has been having conversations with planteria, and very occasionally with patientperson (same poster?), for ages, probably in the hope that somebody will get excited and use their referral links eventually.

Cue a strong denial from planteria that nobody will believe.
