I bought a Wii game in PC World once. I could see the guy's screen as he served me. A message popped up for him to confirm that I was older than 3! He didn't ask me, but he did have to confirm it on the system nonetheless...Mylo_The_Moggy wrote: »Lol. You have to laugh sometimes!
My dad got asked for I.D in B&Q when he bought a stanley knife - He's 65!!!!!! :rotfl:0 -
I think what many, like CK are saying is even with ID they are getting refused and its a massive lack of common sense, a parent wouldnt be buying wine for their 11 year old. If someone has valid ID it doesnt matter who they are with if they buy it then it should be them who become responsable for what happens after that, not the shop. Underage drinkers just have to go to a small corner shop in the nearest city to me and they will get served no problem aslong as not buying crates of vodka. Most of the time they shouldnt expect change thoughNo cashier / company is ever going to be sacked/fined for asking for ID.
No asking for ID might lead them to getting sacked / fine if the person is under 18.
