My quotes were between £350 and £450. I managed to negotiate one of them down by £50. His customer service was excellent and report very prompt.

we are in the process of moving and had our survey done through Woolwich. The surveys were done by Esurv (not sure if this is who they use for all their surveys??)

Anyway, we had the Homebuyers survery and it was £545.

Esurv base the price on the price you are paying for the house.

Google them and you can see from their website what their prices are (sorry I can't post a link, apparently I'm not allowed to as a new user!)

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for your replies, looking at the Esurv website we have crept into the the next price band by a few thousand, annoying.

As long as this is the only unexpected cost we will be fine
