I have not tried this so don't know if it will work. Or you could try this:-
You could take the phone back to Tesco for a refund, you have 30 days if you bought it online. If not sell it to CEX and buy from e2save.com whose phones are unlocked and then sell the credit on the sim card to getpoundsback.co.uk0
