Holiday for 9 (13 - 48 years old), departing Ireland 1st August 2013 for 1 week??

Where would you suggest for nine people to go on holiday departing from Ireland (north or south) on 1st August 2013 for one week? There is one 13 year old and eight adults who range in age from 20 to 48. The budget is a maximum of £600 per adult for all inclusive. They want a beach holiday but they also want to be near things which they can see and do, some where lively with an atmosphere but yet relaxing and calm.

Has anyone got any idea where would be ideal for such an age range and a budget or any suggestions where would be better to look because it seems very difficult to get a Thursday departure or does anyone know of companies which offer Thursday departures from Ireland?
