Worried about remaining credit on lost sim.

I lost my Tesco PAYG mobile a few months ago which had quite a bit of credit left on the sim. I contacted Tesco Mobile to explain that I had lost the phone and Tesco Mobile said that they would send out a new sim with the remaining credit on the new sim.

Because the new sim has the same number (my old number). What happens if my old phone is found? can the sim still be used?

No or everyone would tell them that to double their credit. The old sim has been blocked . Don't worry.

No, it cannot as that sim has been blocked by Tesco. The number has been re-allocated to the new sim.
