Yep. I was appalled by the Martin Lewis Show that was devoted to credit scores. He clarified the fact that the Experian score isn't the be all and end all the following week, but it was still a disgraceful love in with Experian.

Because the likes of Experian and Equifax are constantly pushing adverts along the likes of "Check your credit scrore with us! Just £14.99! Then we'll tell you whether or not you are likely to be accepted for credit *".

Yep, this too. I've challenged the Experian Company Representative about their use of wording and lack of clarity and he has never replied to date.

but you do have a credit score.

each lender will score you, so you effectively have a score with each lender.

So things on your credit file can effect how the lender will score you.

what you dont have is a global credit score

Our website makes it very clear that the Experian Credit Score is an indication of how a typical lender would rate your credit report. It is not a credit rating used by lenders, although it's built using the same sort of algorithms. Lenders' scores assess a wider range of data. Martin made this very clear on his TV show.

Back to the original question, it's not standard practice to register corporate cards on people's credit reports. Mine certainly isn't!

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"
