Okay another £60 paid off the bill

I checked with the benefits forum - someone said anything up to 30 weeks for the appeal to be heard :( if it goes on that long it will be WELL over a year since this debacle started!

£30 paid (and some interest added - grumble), but already 20% of the way there :T:T:T:T:T

Tomorrow and Monday will (hopefully) be paperwork sorting and then I can knit again (yay!)

Hurray for knitting! My craft/knitting stash has expanded enormously because of the amount of stuff I've inherited from my mum. At the end of the visit, my sister said "I'm never buying any material ever again!".

Another £30 cleared off V3ry - nibbling this down nicely! On another thread someone suggested knitting for The Mission for Seafarers - I reckon I could knit a few scarves with all my sock wool - which will use that up AND help a good cause! :j

    Hiya KW - just having a little catch-up.. :)

Fingers crossed your appeal is successful - the system is such a mine-field! It amazes me how some people who are comparitively fit get given everything, while those who really need help have so many obstacles to fight through - grrr!

Meanwhile, well done on beating down the shop-card balances! :T
