New mobile contract & PUC code help please
My T-Mob contract has come to an end and they have been unable to offer me an incentive to stay that comes close to the offers available if I take out a new T-Mob contract elsewhere. They have given me my PUC code for my number and I just want to ensure that I don't lose my number.
I understand that the way to do this is to buy a pay as you go sim and have the number transferred to that and then have it transferred to the new contract once it is up and running. Is this the way to go about it? I have a gold number that I really don't want to lose by screwing the procedure up!

No reliance should be placed on the above.

you will just need to clarify that you have the correct code first as the PUK code will only unlock your handset if you have forgotten your security pin,
What you need is the PAC code which is 3 letters followed by 6 numbers if this is what you have you fine but if it`s the PUK ( 8 numbers) you will need to give them a call back
You are correct in the porting procedure though.0 -
Thanks, I think they knew what I was talking about but I'll check the no they gave me!No reliance should be placed on the above.0
