Arts and Crafts Board trial?

I've been spending a lot of time on the new gaming board and love it, and it's got me thinking that an arts and crafts version would be nice too. There are the odd threads dotted around dedicated to sewing or knitting/crochet but no where to really have a good talk about what projects we are working on.
It would also be nice to be able to show what we have made, to get feedback, and maybe inspire someone else into trying to create something themselves instead of buying it.
The MSE side comes from helping people find new cheeper places to buy materials from as some crafts can get quite expensive.
