Do I have a reasonable return claim?

Hi, at the end of last year I bought a sim-free Lumia 920 from P4U. I believe it may be faulty, but I'm not sure these are acceptable grounds for a return:

When it loses signal, it often fails to return even when in good signal area, I have strong (4-5 bar) signal in my bedroom, but if I lose signal, I can go to sleep and wake up and it'll still not have signal in the morning. To remedy this I have to ring my own number, but it's a pain because I often have no signal without knowing it.

Secondly, and equally important, it's battery as of late has drained far too quickly. Last night I went to bed at 2, and according to my battery tracking app it went from between 80 and 90% battery to dead by about 7 AM. I've got wifi, nfc, bluetooth, internet sharing all off, and my connection speed set to 3G (I've not got 4G anyway, but I'm in a 4G area). It just isn't normal that a phone goes from nearly full to dead in 5 hours when totally idle.

Can I reasonably claim the device is faulty and request a return, it has a 1 year warranty.

Thanks

Chris

No it will be sent for repair .

Where do you loose signal one place or many places .

Have you factory reset the device ???

battery life is usually settings or apps running

Hey, thanks for reply, I meant repair sorry, not return.

If I lose signal, which was frequent in my old house and then went to a strong signal area (I live in central Edinburgh, good signal) I would not get my signal back unless I rang myself, I've missed calls, texts, emails because of it.

As for apps, I use few apps, besides the ones built in (calls, texts, emails, alarm clock) I use just a handful of 3rd party apps such as BBC news.

After charging my phone on the wireless charger this morning and leaving it sitting there idle I was shocked to see it turn off... the battery is draining faster than the wireless charger charges it.

OP, it sounds like a firmware issue, have you checked for software updates?
