You do NOT pay Parking Eye.

You should be able to get this fake ticket cancelled quickly. Did you spend around £30 at Aldi? If so and you can prove it, Parking Eye should cancel it.
Wait for a regular to tell you how. In the mean time you could do two things. Do a search about "Parking Eye, Aldi customer, cancel" and you will see how w/o any further help.

Secondly go onto Aldi's Facebook and make a comment about this in strong terms, explaining what you have here with us. Here is the link.

Actually, Parking Eye are breaking the BPA CoP because there should be given a grace period allowing you to come into car park and find a space, also the time to leave car park space and drive to exit and out. So you may have entered and left the car park in 2 hrs 11 minutes but you were NOT parked for 2 hrs 11 minutes!

Here you go, read this to understand why this is the VERY WEEK for you to be emailing your complaint to Aldi who have their backs against the wall:

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4660007

customer-services@aldi.co.uk

And you can/should appeal the fake PCN to Parking Eye and you WILL WIN anyway if you follow our advice on the two stages of challenge. You have up to 28 days to send the first challenge to PE so try to get Aldi to cancel it first. Do not send a challenge without reading exactly how to word appeals to Parking Eye - and then come back again for advice before sending the POPLA appeal stage letter! It's VERY important to word it right and you will win.

But you were a customer and you did buy things from Aldi on that day? Use the FB link and also the email C-M gave you and complain to Aldi. The chances are you can get the fake ticket cancelled this way. If you do or don't get it cancelled come back to this thread and tell the forum. A two stage appeal would then be the way to go. A soft appeal to PE which they will reject then the POPLA appeal as C-M above has advised. They must be worded right, must be! But the first one is easy and can be found here post #2.

By card fine as it will have Aldi as the merchant and the transaction date. And if you regularly use that Aldi and can show you are use this with Aldi as to why they MUST cancel PE's fake ticket or you will take your custom elsewhere....... and all because of their agent PE.

It won't matter even if you'd only spent 50p there.

- get Aldi to cancel it and DO NOT be fobbed off into being told to appeal to the parking company (why should you?)

- if they won't cancel it, then send a soft challenge like those linked here, NOT SAYING WHO WAS DRIVING:

http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=80125&st=20&start=20

- if rejected then work on a strong POPLA appeal like these linked here (SHOW US THE DRAFT FIRST SO WE CAN FINE-TUNE IT TO WIN):

You won't be paying this 'charge' but push Aldi; really rattle their cage first as you've picked the very best week to do so.
