My two penneth,I used AVG free on a xp machine for years but was getting less and less happy with it so switched to Avast.That improved things......but when I switched to MSE I found my pc became much quicker and spent less time hanging.
I'm now running Windows 7 and MSE and have no complaints,I haven't had any infections and the computer runs sweetly.
Off all the anti virus programs I've tried MSE uses less resources ....or at least it appears to in a real world situation0 -
There are a lot of very good and informative posters on here. They have helped me and a lot of others, so please do not call them 'smart alecs'.Hi,don't let them put you off,it was good of you to post it,someone will find it useful,that is the trouble with this forum,too many 'smart alecs'....and nasty posters,.ignore,and they will go away.As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0
